This post is part of an ongoing gratitude series
celebrating people who’ve given me a huge creative boost.
Back in 2003, I fell in love with producing television. Who knew that 80+ productions later I’d still be quite smitten? There’s nothing like collaborating with a great team to produce this exciting art form. When done right, everyone plays their parts like instruments in a symphony.
Since the very beginning I have been fortunate to work with Ron Winingar and Larry Talbot. Not only have these two had a hand in almost everything I’ve produced, they have had their heart in it as well. And over the years we have become dear, dear friends. Recently, Bob Snow has become a most welcome addition to our productions.
They are muses and so much more. When I was beat, and didn’t think I could get back in the ring, they believed in me. They tended my wounds, gave me a towel, lifted me up, and helped me on my way.
I feel like they are my angels here on earth.
Yesterday we were out at beautiful San Juan Oaks Golf Club, filming the pilot for our new television series. I can’t give out the details just yet. What I can tell you, is that it has a painting component. And show really focuses on lighting a fire under people’s creativity.
(I thought it was a black widow, he said it was only a cousin!)
Thanks so much Ron, Larry and Bob for your friendship, talent and dedication. You guys rock!
