These days my paintings are merging with my music and my music is merging with my art. I’m really happy about the integration. It’s exhilarating to do both!
Sometimes my own songs get stuck in my head as I paint. When that happens, I just run with it. Recently, I’ve started a series of miniature abstract landscapes. These tiny gems are inspired by scenes from San Benito County, and colored by my dreams, imagination, and of course the music.
I have named the last three of my “mini paintings” after lyrics from my song Closed.
The first in the series is called Crimson Into Lime…
