When I first started painting, I was known for my paintings of children.
RJ, shown below, is one of my earliest examples.

Recently, one of my licensee’s, The Art Needlepoint Company suggested I explore children again, and I loved the idea.
So I ordered 20, yep 20, 18″ x 24 ” canvases and intend to complete a series of children at play.
They will all have a vintage … 1930′s look and feel, inspired by photos of my mother as a child.
(Yes I have permission to use the photos.)

I can’t wait for the canvas to arrive!
My inner child is calling and somehow I feel like Mom’s hanging around too.
My goal is to complete 12 of these by the end of the year.
